Their default selection of themes are quite professional and attractive which you can actually make do with if you don’t know coding and still create an excellent blog, but if you do have some knowledge, you should learn to play around with this because it opens up a vast amount of alternatives and tricks you can do, that are impossible from just choosing among pre-defined options. Their HTML coding is much simplified, so if you’re a perfectionist like me, I’d suggest you learn up a little on its codes.

I couldn’t help but agree. Though HTML coding might be confusing for a greenhorn, one can learn all of the tricks in time.

Changing the background is easy and cost free here. Tumblr offers with pre-made themes for your blogs. It dead easy to create a new layout and post things that we want to share to people.

People are never quite sure what to make of it. Tons of free themes and a growing premium theme marketplace make it easy to find a theme you like, and most are easily customizable even if you don’t know tons of code.

The simplicity of using it, attract many people to sign up and have one Tumblr account. You also can freely customize your Tumblr the way you want. There is no shortcut in learning how to create your own. It just practice make perfect.

The one place where Tumblr beats Twitter is in its customization which can be called a cross of features from micro blogging and blogs. And when we talk about customization the first thing we talk about is premium and free themes. Tumblr themes are stylish, modern and marketing friendly.

Tumblr coding is fairly easy to pick up compared to other more complex blogging systems. Tumblr allows its users to create custom themes giving the owner of a Tumble blog the ability to truly customize their Tumble blog to be their own. Tumblr uses a single page of HTML, with the CSS and scripts in the head of the file.

Putting or changing a background image or picture in Tumblr theme is actually easy. Changing an image as the background images can be complicated if you don’t know how to set the right size for it.

    • admin  May 18, 2012

That can be a real problem. But the good thing is the background image in most themes is a perfect fit to blog pages. Unless you want to change it and want to make it right, learning HTML coding and CSS is your only aid to that.
